Adam is a 3rd year PhD student in Electrical and Systems Engineering. He received a bachelors degree in Materials Sci and Engineering from UW-Madison in 2020 (Go Badgers), and his research interests focus on polaritonic TMD metasurfaces for solar energy harvesting.
Kwan-Ho Kim

Kwan-Ho is a PhD Candidate in Electrical and Systems Engineering (ESE) at the University of Pennsylvania. He did his undergraduate in Electronic Engineering at Pusan National University in South Korea, and joined the Jariwala group in the fall of 2020. His research interests are emerging memory/storage devices applicable to next-generation computing architecture such as in-memory computing and neuromorphic computing. In particular, he is focusing on research on ferroelectric-FET (Fe-FET), Fe-RAM and ferroelectric tunneling junction (FTJ).
Chloe Leblanc

Chloe did her undergrad at Stanford and joined the lab as a PhD Candidate in Fall 2020. Her research interests include 2D ferroelectric materials and devices with a focus on their applications in energy.
Jason Lynch

Jason started his PhD with the Jariwala group in 2021 after obtaining a BS in Physics at the University of Chicago and a MS in Nanotechnology at Penn. His research focuses on tunability of 2D and 1D for high performance optoelectronic devices.
Bongjun Choi

Bongjun is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and System Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania and joined the Prof. Deep Jariwala group in the Fall of 2022. He obtained his B.S. degree from the University of Seoul with Summa Cum Laude honors in Electrical and Computer Engineering and M.S. degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Electrical Engineering. His research is focused on novel excitonic materials and next-generation optoelectronic devices.
Zekun Hu

Zekun got his bachelors degree from the University of Nottingham. In 2023, he completed a Master’s degree in System engineering at Penn while working in the Jariwala Group, and he continued on in the pursuit of a PhD. His interest is in properties of TMDC in solar cell and non-volatile optoelectronics, and his current research is focused on non-volatile electronics.
Kyung Min Yang
Kyungmin is a visiting scholar in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering and works with Prof. Deep Jariwala during 2023-2024. She is currently PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering at the Seoul National University, Korea. Her research focuses on ferroelectric devices for emerging neuromorphic computing and processing-in-memory.
Myeongjin Jung
Myeongjin is a PhD candidate in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering (AMSE) at Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea. He completed his undergraduate studies in the same field at Sungkyunkwan University. From the fall of 2023 to the summer of 2024, he was a visiting researcher with the Jariwala Group. His research interests include solution-processed 2D material devices and ferroelectric diodes.
