Our laboratory is looking for outstanding, creative and motivated students, scholars and visitors to join our research efforts.
We are seeking highly motivated undergraduates, masters and doctoral students as well as post-doctoral research scholars to join us.
Undergraduates who are excited to work in the area of nanoelectronics, nanophotonics and advanced, atomic scale materials should directly email Deep. Undergraduates will have an opportunity to get hands on experience on experimental apparatus with close mentoring from Deep.
Graduate students will gain knowledge and expertise in semiconductor processing, thin film deposition via physical or chemical methods, nanofabrication, electrical characterization and measurements, optical spectroscopy, electromagnetic or electronic device simulations. Prior experience in any of the above skills is a plus.
Interested candidates for Masters and PhD programs are also strongly encouraged to apply to Penn Engineering’s programs in the ESE and MSE departments. More information is available here
Postdoctoral candidates with prior experience in chemical or physical vapor deposition of thin films and other nanostructured materials and/or nanofabrication, semiconductor processing and electrical characterization are preferred.
